Resurrection

Tenuous, Pale and green,

Yes, I lay down like a grass

Roots intact, heart within

Staring at stars.

All along this perilous journey

I have laid a character

Wanton Patience, salubrious conviction

And a demure smile alluding the “matter”

For what role do I have in jungle

Dreams being burnt in slaughter.

Frivolous Giants crushing me

Inspired by esoteric pleasure.

Hit me, break me, split me apart

Palliate the pain

Rid me from the fretful dreams

Those driving me insane.

Stab me, humiliate,Kill me

Burn me in vexation.

Albeit,Eyes riveted at ashes

Would still fathom “Resurrection”.
